How the bar got here

Every item in the queue is public record. We only added the coin.

  1. The notice goes up.

Rockstar Games posts it: Grand Theft Auto VI pre-load begins on November 10. The whole world looks at a date.

    The post The announcement

  2. The queue opens. Queued

Digital pre-load starts: 00:00 GMT on Xbox Series X|S, local midnight on PS5. Up to 212 GB, depending on console. You need a digital pre-order or purchase to get in line.

  3. Physical copies reach the stores.

In stores from Nov 12. The bar does not care.

  4. The bar finishes. Not playable until Nov 19

Launch day. Whatever you downloaded sits there until Nov 19. Downloaded is not playable. Then it is.
